10 WAYS MINITRUCKIN MAGAZINE COULD BE BETTER

do like 1 mag a year with nothing but past badass covers in them.

and charge aim more money for ad space.

suspension design is huge in minitrucks, lets see more of that on featured trucks. I lose interest in reading about a particular truck if i cant see the mechanics of how the frame and suspension is configured. Keep in mind i agree that smoothed out tubbed bed floors look sweet, but if we cant see the frame work and suspension, we are missing a huge part of what makes it custom. crawl underneath and take a picture so we can see how it was built and how it works. Its obvious if you have seen a featured truck at a show that the pictures are very selective and only flawless modifications are shown, but if the outside of the truck is clean and the interesting parts of the truck arent worth looking at, dont feature it.

why do loyal subscribers get gyped out of all the cool calenders and such that the off the shelfers get to recieve for a 1 time buy? ive been a subscribed reader for a few years and give out alot of subscriptions for bdays xmas etc, and nobody gets cool ass calenders and the such....

Because they paid for it....literally. you prolly only pay $1.25 an issue if you subscribed. they pay $6 an issue.

I totally agree with taking pics underneath..suspension and engine. The main reason I stopped reading is...how do I word this... I see these really nice trucks featured, then I see the truck at show and... its really just a painted turd. May not run, suspension might make it not drivable, under the hood is filthy, etc. I totally understand that every truck isnt built to the same standard, but shouldnt featured rides be held a little more accountable? Maybe this issue has been resolved since I have not read MT in a few years now. I like SSM, cant get away with anything here. just my $.02

feeling the same as lobdyblazr, if started feeling this way awhile ago when at a local show i saw the autowerks ptap scion xb in person and it was a joke but the next month it was in the mag, you take pics of all the super clean rides out of japan and if they can put that time and effort into detail and get undercarriage shots then start making the american guys do it.  also if i just could get my subscription in the mail then i would be happy but for some reason i guess the mail man likes them better than me. 

Here is a question maybe someone can answer for me: Are there not enough nice minis out there so minitruckin can show some other than someones repainted mini? I'm not knockin those trucks-as they are nice-but are there any others out there that deserve to be featured? Personally I think it makes our scene look small and that we as a scene do not have enough trucks to feature in the magazine. Just my .02. Btw, when is Ernie gonna lower that mitsu? j/k
