I looked under the dash saturday and OMG.. can you say Rats nest? There was all kinds of shit ran to the fuse box.. I gotta get under there and clean some of that crap up.. They had ground wires and extra power wires ran into the front doors as well.. I have no earthly idea why.. They had the ground wire ran to the regulator. They also had marker lights in all 4 fenderwells... I found a toggle switch on the bottom of the dash that is some sort of ignition killer cause when it's off it won;t start. I could go on for days about all the crap that's wired up in this thing. The drivers inner fender had 2 relays screwed to it with wires looped thru them to a big ass solenoid that wasn;t hooked up to anything. yada yada.. So anyone wanna come clean up this wireing mess?


Also... Why the hell is the floorboard in a CC Dually so much different than a Burban? I'm gonna have to cut some of the burban floor out and weld it into my dually so I get these damn burban buckets to bolt up correctly. I'd rather do that than build some kind of bracket off of my seats.

I love it when some one doesn't think they did a good enough job at the factory so they take it apon them self to rewire it

and I thought the floors we're the same.... have you pulled carpet up yet and the sub was an auto trans

I put the seats in and only 3 of the 4 ends of track touch the floor. there's like mtal missing..lol Both of them are auto's.. I figured they would just bolt in but I guess not.

I'm not sure what the difference would be btw the crew cab and the burb. Did you swap the center console also? Which parts don't touch? You didn't get them mixed up from one side to other did you ?

I tried both of them and the front inside mounting pint on either side isn't touchng the floor in the front. It's like 3" or so from touching. Like the floor drops down in my dually farther back than the burb does. I got both seats and the console. I think the console will mount right once I mouth the front bracket to the floor. But the seats just won't mount up.. well unless I just wanna have 3 of the 4 boths attached. I figured they would just bolt in but I'm guessin not. They bolt right up on the outside where the bench did. but it's the inside front that's screwed.

didn't they put a support type thing in there thats spot welded to the floor

I'll find out tomorow. I took tonight off of it. I turned 35hrs today at work and I needed a break...

If I find something like that I'll keep ya updated..
