Progress

Well I got the bed off finally.. I hate the design of the bed bolts on square bodies by the way.... Anyone know where I can but a new set? I had to cut a few of them off.. So anyway here's a pi.. I got the headers installed tonight and I get my exhaust on it tomorrow...



And what is this? Anyone know?

its something to do with the anti brakes the way it looks like it works is if the rear rolles to much it releases pressure so the rear doesn't lock up

just run down to your local box store and get some carriage bolts and use nylocs and neverseiz so you can get them off if you want and

I had to do the same when I took my bed off a couple weeks ago, pain in the dick!

That thing is actually a proportion valve for the brakes. It probably doesn't have antilock. That thing changes how much front/rear bias you got dependent on the load you are carrying. It is attached to the rear suspension isn't it?

Yeah it goes from the rearend to the frame. so you think I can bypass it?

Ya I think you can just take it out. You can try just hooking the flex line into the metal line. But you made need an adjustable valve to get it set right.

brakes are way overrated anyways, especially rear ones. Makes it way easier to do burnouts with out them.

Yeah, just take it off and hook the metal line on the frame directly to the rubber flex line. Glad to see the progress!
