It's still a donk. Even though it's not raised up any? We aren't gonna cut on it till I get back from reso. I have ALL of the stuff to bag it and stockfloor it. Just got to be a too tight of a pinch for time and didn;t wanna risk messing up everyones plans.

I got the headers on last night and had dual 3 inch ran today with 3" Thrush mufflers (flowmaster copies)

Sunday I'm gonna strip down the burban I bought and start changing out the doors and front clip. Then it'll be time to install the gear vendor and my C/C Rearend.

Has anyone upgraded their throttle body? They are selling larger ones on ebay for a pretty good price. I'm thinking a bigger throttle body, a helix, a MSD 6AL and maybe buy a chip for it? Plan on doin all this in the next month.. Anyone have a chip or anything on their TBI 7.4? Any feedback?

I was gonna do a roller cam retrofit kit but that's like a grand and I don't really wanna pull the motor out before we head out on a 22hr drive pulling a 52ft wedge with 3 cars on it..

Also.. Do R30's have fuel pumps in the tanks or is it one external.. I need to maybe get an add on tank.. the 2 factory ones aren't enough for this big of a trip.

your pump is in your tanks and they have bigger openings then the non tbi tanks thats so you can get the sender and the pump in and the crew cabs have the biggest tanks, by a galllon or so (thats what I've been told).
if you start changing cams don't go so big you lose vacum because thats what your MAP works off of and with no vacum the computer will lean out you motor. but you can get an ajustable MAP censor

I'm going to try and put a big bore tbi with matched injectors and an ajustable fuel pressure regulator in before I head to reso

I pulled the dually into the shop today and fixed my steering box leak then I replaced my O2 sensor with a new one and had to lengthen the wire on the new one cause I had the muffler guy move the bung a lil down stream so it could get a better reading. Then I drove it to the car wash and degreased the hell out of the motor and front suspension and frame while I had the inner fenders out of it. The steering box had been leaking for a while so everything was greasy as hell..


Well then I pulled my $300 91 Burb into the shop and started tearin it down. I got the front clip off, 4 doors removed, front buckets and console taken out, front carpet taken out and a bunch of misc parts off it. Then once I got it all stripped I put the 91 burban core support on my truck. It got a lil too late to wire it cause I have truck parts all over the shop and I had to get it all cleaned up for monday morning... So here's some pic's.
