I dont do any steel 22s...PERIOD...You cannot mill a steel wheel and the people who run them are asking for for major problems.

However you can buy some machined aluminum 22s and have them painted or powdercoated.

whell machining the steel wheels cant be done , but there's another way .
i sometimes watch american hot rod and the boyd coddingtonwheels are made from a aloy rimblank in the wheelsize required and a custommade/machined center
they heat the blank up and drop it over the center then they let it cool and weld the rim to the center on an automated weldingrig .
if you can find a company who makes steel rimblanks in 22 inch you could machine the 22.5 inch rim off the center and down to required size heat the rim drop it over the center line it up and weld it .
it schould work and it still would be safe but i wouldnt be surpriced to see it costing more then a set of reworked alcoa's

you know in the beginning i thought you done the aloy's that way too it would be a nice idea because you can have the rim fit in the wheelwell and you can finaly use the cracked wheels too (just lob off the rim and put another one on there )

I don't think anyone makes a steel 20 or bigger hoop.??

I think some of the older moter homes had 20" wheels, but your right husk finding new hoops now day I think you'd be hard pressed. but you might get someone like stockton wheel to make some for you

after all the trouble and time you could have some aluminum 22's or 24's
