Try a single-wire sensor. Single-wire sensors are between 2V - 5V, while 3, 4, and 5-wire sensors can put out as much as 12V. Too high a voltage signal will throw the ECU full rich and it can't compensate.

It may take a little longer for the 02 to heat up if you have it too far downstream, if so just move it up on one of the primary tubes.

I dropped it off to the mechanic this morning. I've had my fill of workin on it...lol I think we are gonna just go back to a one wire and move it to a primary tube in the header like you said. It would work just as good if not better.

You oughta check my reply in your project thread on the truck, I saw it before this post.

I know carb guys get pissed at these computers, trust me I went from years of messing with nothing but old carbed engines into messing with TBI. It's not a bad system to troubleshoot once you understand some more about them.
