rear tires hitting fenders

yea man that sucks..., i have a 2000 also and have never had that problem.. when i was talking to brent at brentz wheels i asked him about his wheels still lettin me lay out and he told me that at it depends because at the end of production of our bodystyle they had three different rearend that they were putting in our trucks.... so maybe you could get lucky and just find a shorter on but that is still stock...

There are two main ways you can go here when putting 22s on your truck:
1st is a different rearend in the truck (mine is out of a C-30 Box style truck, got one for sale) and still have to raise your fenders up around 3-4 inches or to the bottom of the body line.
2nd is to just widen and raise your fenders and itch from fiberglass for about a month. This is probably the cheaper way but more of a pain in the ass.

Won't you have to itch from fiberglass just raising them also? How much for that rearend with shipping? Will it work with my art 4 link?

Yea you will itch any way...450 for the rearend and I will say around 150-200 for freight shipping. Will probably have to do a little modification on the 4-link will just have to see it. You may talk low95 into picking it up for you @ Layed out at the Park and save 200 bucks....Just a thought..L8R

so other than swapping the rear end or moddin the fenders we're s.o.l. uh? I mean, I'm cool with cuttin the hell outta anything, frames, fenders, mailboxes, whatever. I just don't want to make my fenders to hold 22's then my 16's look like 13 inch daytons with the huge fenders until I can afford 22's! Cause I'm gettin 22's damnit! But until lockone can hook me up with a crazy fat mac daddy deal on them (he he - hint hint) it's gonna be a long while......
