it's not so much the kits, it's just do people not take pride in how good, or strong for that matter, their welds are? do they not care about having their beds cut to total shit? do they not care about the 5,000 wires hanging out every where, or that it's a fire hazard waiting to happen? yeah, i understand not every one has all the big money tools to do some really clean trick stuff, some of the cleanest trucks i've seen have been built in someone's garage, barn, gank ass shack behind their house. if some people would just slow down, take their time, put some thought into it, it would make a huge difference! so what if you won't see it, or it'll be covered up later down the road, you know it's there!? i guess me being a body tech for years, i was always taught that when repairing damage, you want it to look like it never happened, you want it to be strong and safe, and if someone was to really, REALLY look at the car, you want all the gaps to match, seam sealers to match the factory, the undercoatings, etc. no sand scratchs, the paint to match, no blend lines, you want them to never know you were there..... that's pride in your work, and that's what alot of people building trucks today have lost, lack, or just plain don't have.......
