air ride tech?

2800 will fit with some trimming but it is a little overkill for the front of that truck.

I think the djm 6 is ok just not been overly happy with the ball joint issues. But I also use my truck towing a boat and trailers around. My rig has 60k on it now with bothlower ball joints replaced and the upper a arms done 3 times. Also my lowers are from when the body style came out so maybe the newer version arms have been refined.

I have an 03 with a 8.1 gas motor but i am running air ride front strong arms with shock waves and a bar in the back... yes they run torsion bars but out of a 1/2 ton truck the front kit also runs 1/2 ton ball joints(lower) which ive replaces id say 10 times each side. the shaft keeps breaking on the ball joint. everyone says its the control arm they say its worn out and not sucking the ball joint up in it far enough. air ride tech wont replace them ive talked to them a million times even at sema to there reps.anyways my opinion there junk go elsewhere... also my truck was done in late 2003 and only has 35000 miles on it ... so theres my opinion

mines a 93' and i have 2800s up front and i get like over a foot of lift...

What I was getting at is it is a bigger bag and the 7s get the same amount of lift and just figured they would ride better.

When I get around to bagging mine I just plan on going back to stock arms with McGaughys spindles and ditching the torsion bars.

As for the back I am gonna do a parallel 4 link with a panhard and big ass firestone bags cuz they look cool.

That is if I ever get it to Jeff at Hard Luck Customs...and I ever get this bitch of an Sexpedition done

how would i make mounts on the stock arm? and what would you use as a upper bracket for the front?
