Little background first..

24's, slam re6's with kp cups and monroe shocks up front, firestone 2500's with a suicide doors 2 link with panhard and monroe shocks out back.

I am tucking 24's all around, and with the truck aired out front and rear, nothing rubs or hits anywhere. I can drive the truck slow and steer a little with no issues at all, but my QUESTION is, is it alright to drive with the bags deflated and how fast is it safe to drive this way?
I have enough ground clearence as to not drag anything under the truck, and granted the roads are smooth, should I be alright?

Thanks.

drive to what you think is safe its a judgement call but remember if a turn comes up u will hit fenders really fast

yeah, when you turn or go into parking lots your truck will flex and rub somewhere

running around on aired out bags as in NO air is real hard on the bags

hey chris I'm not seeing any pictures of this dually that you have

oh just a heads up pictures are like feeding crack to a junky here, will all be your freind untill we forget

The slams have an internal bump stop built in to them. I think your not suppose to drive without at least 10psi in your bags regardless of brand. I think it has something to do with them rubbing on themselves.

Thanks for the replies guys.

Up front, when I dump the air, the truck goes all they way down and stops with around 20psi in the bags.. its just been habit I guess, to hold the switch, and let it all out until the display reads 0psi.
For the rear, I dont dump all the air, as then it sits a few inches lower then the front. I keep about 40psi in it now when parked, but Im guessing this will also change when all the bed work is in and finished.. good couple hunderd pounds extra i'm guessing.

As for pictures, 1) I have no clue how to post them on this forum. Ive tried the route like I'm use to on forums, but nothing showed up. And 2) it's not a dually. Its my 2003 Harley Edition 4door F150, thats been under the knife for the last 3 years, and is just about 90% complete.... thank god!

Something else I have a QUESTION about.. with having a 2 link out back, will this limit the amount of dump the rear see's on one side? My bar is as long as possiable and mounted on the passenger side frame, with other end across on the other side of the rear end. My passenger side rear of the truck doesnt seem to "drop" as much when parked, is the 2 link the cause, just a characteristic of 2 links?

TIA!

The 2-link shouldn't cause more drop on one side then the other. Something must be holding one side up.

I've done a few F150s, and seen the kits for the 6" bags. i'd definatly go wtih a 7 up front on a F150 though. It will give you more lift and ride better with less PSI.

2 links suck, but other than that, a 2 link will force a axle to stay level, either it is broken (i have seen that many times) or something is holding one side up causing allot of bind and flexing your frame more than it should which can cause other problems. I'd definatly look at it close and see is up there.

Posting pics on here sucks, it has to be a .jpg or .gif or some sort of "normal" image file. Sooooo if you have it in a gallery somewhere and its got a .php or some in the like as the ext it won't work unless you have some unix/linux skills to remap a non image style file to a image extenstion. (not sure if thats your problem but i'm just guessing, and its not just this forum, its on most forums)
