What up guys im new and i just got my 08 F450 i just had sum 24.5 pete wheels milled im lookin for a way to close the gap a lil bit anyone have any ideas without goin nuts between the price of the truck and this wheel steup im kinda tapped i wud appreciate any info... Thanx Jimmy

What suspension type is under your F450? Leafs or Beams?

well im waiting on the wheels from getting milled shud B here by wednsday then ill post pix I bought tires today 295-40-24 im thinkin its not gonna look so tough with a big gap its got beams up front no easy way around that im assuming ?

hey thanx for all the welcoming but sum advice on droping this turck wud be great hard feelings i just dont know much about droping i have lifted my trucks in the past like my 150 i have now i heard sumthing about using 2wd springs up front and taking out a spacer on the rear blocks?????

I know they make a 3/5 drop kit for 2008-2010 F350s. I know there is a difference between the 350 and 450 suspension but I don't know exactly what.

The springs and spacer trick will only get you around 1" or less.

What kind of adapters do you have to mount the wheels on your truck?

somebody made me billet adapters he said there T50 6 aircraft aluminum for the truck he swears they are stronger than the steel ones. I am so sketched out about them what is your opinion lockone ? I dont know anything about this

Give them back to him. T50 grade aluminum is mainly used in utensils, decorative trim, chemical tanks, and awnings because it is not heat treatable. Aluminum is stronger than steel in some aspects but it is also soft, therefore the stud often pulls loose from the knurl seats on the aluminum (especially if they are over 1" thick).

The only adapters I have seen for these trucks are steel and you have to reverse (invert) the factory lug studs for the hub bore of the wheel to clear the stock lug pattern. I am not a fan of this because it make them a pain in the a$$ to install and they are not user friendly.

We build direct bolt wheels for these trucks as a result of them being user friendly.
