Lilj....any info on a price for these tops..? I might be interested in one of these to replace my two sunroofs I have now, if I can get one big enough to cover the opening of the two sunroofs.

Streetbeats are JUNK. The handles fall off, They have really bad windnoise..They leak, say goodbye to pressure washing your truck.. they are wide open from the sides.. so if you spray them at all from the side it'll just pour right in your truck.. They are badass when they are open.... But when they are closed they blow ass.. All it is is a Aluminum frame with a piece of canvas streched over it.. You could build one for $40 if you had one to take apart. They are super cheesy... I had a 40x40 in my mazda.. it was killer when it was a nice sunny day but once it rained or was winter it sucked. Not to mention I had to wait 13 weeks for the one in my mazda When you buy it they tell you 4 weeks 6 weeks tops.Everytime I called them they gave me a new excuse.. The best one was the dock workers were on strike where they got their canvas from...lol You'd be alot happier with a power canvas roof but they aren't big enough for a crew cab.. The power ones actually seal..

Matter of fact I still have the billet handle for it layin around somewhere.. Ended up using a small pair of vice grips. The latch is a threaded bolt and the handle has 2 lil set screws they are supposed to tighten into the threaded bolt.. I tried grinding flat spots on it for the set screws to hold onto and it still wouldn't stay on. Bolts are hardened.. and 2 1/8" set screws don't hold onto the threads good enough to keep it from spinning and falling off in your hand. The latch is a lil hook that slides into a slot and the pressure is supposed to keep it locked.. I know several people including me that the damn thing blew open driving down the interstate.. I wish I had some pictures of the latch assembly of these things.. They are sooo shitty..

Gotta love a stockfloor body dropped truck with a stock bed floor..

Think twice before you buy a Streetbeat rag.. Get on SSM and ask what they think I'm sure you'll see it's not a good idea..

Nice Mazda.

I had one in High School. Sometimes, I think back and I kinda miss it.

...Sometimes.

Ahh I love mazda's but too.. Just can't be in a hurry to get anywhere in one... They can barely get out their own way...lol I had a 5.0HOfi bought for it but I sold it for 6k before I had a chance to put the motor in. So I sold the motor right after I sold the truck.. lol

That's the biggest reason why I don't miss mine. Other than that, the're cool little trucks.

I had the 2.2 in my '87. She was a dog. Traded it in on a Ranger when I was 19.

In my early, early twenties (20/21-ish), I bought a '91 off a buddy cheap ($500). It had the 2.6 Mitsu motor in it, but he overheated it and warped the head. I sat on it for a year before I sold it to a local kid who's Pop ran a salvage yard. From what I hear, he had it running in a few months, although I never saw it cruisin' around town.
