So you do it dif now. Great you found a better way. And I'm doing it the not better way. It should turn out ok I'm not a hack and am in no hurry.

There really isnt a wrong way. Thats what I was saying when i said everone does theirs differently.

ya thanks for the help. Plans also call for a 3.5" sfbd so i got alot of work ahead of me. Did you keep the stock side saddle fuel tanks. I got one out of the burb that I was thinking of mounting behind the rear axle. I think an alum fuel cell would be better, but the budget.

yeah, I rasied the section under the rear seat so they would still fit. The seat still sits in the same position just less room under the seat to put junk....

My Dad was an excellent mechanic, but he wasn't into custom stuff. He taught me a lot. My kids are real excited about working on the dually. Of course I told Adam we were not going to start on his camaro till the dually was drivable again, so he wants it done so we can start on his project.

To the doors on the biggest wheels I can afford(16's). 3x2 frame rails. Rebuild new floor as flat and low as possible.
