Holy crap, this place is like fort Knox to get into since the look changed!

Well I am back...again, I have been lurking as a guest while I got sorted, the truck is back in the shop and the completion date is long weekend in May...times a tickin'.

Pics soon. Moved the truck outside the shop while other jobs got done and the bitch froze into the ground. I am giving it till next Friday to warm up, then i'm gonna drag it out.

Friggin cold over here is starting to piss me off.

it's looking nice can't wait to see it finished

It hasn't been cut up for parts quite yet...it's in primer and in storage. Getting taken out in a couple weeks to get the motor yanked and the front frame z'ed.

I've been wondering about the amount of inches I'd have to z the front to sit down. I've heard 2.5" etc, and some don't need it at all?

This one definately does.
I also need to swap the front end stuff to half ton stuff, can I retain the current drop spindles? What all needs to go to suck those tires in when it gets dumped in the front?

My buddy doing the z had been busy, but the ship has slowed down so I'm on deck. I want to have all my parts and info so he can get this done.

Thx in advance guys.

Ok what the hell is up with my photobucket acct? All the pics are still there, but they don't show up on Duallyscene?

I've figured out the hub issue, but I just can't wait on my buddy to get this thing into his shop. the owner is wanting to drive, and I can't blame him.

I'm ordering the SD raised cross member kit and doing it myself. Anyone done this or the Porterbuilt one yet?

Heard nothing but good things so far. I gotta call Jason and get ordering this kit. No need for the hub change now.

What's good, Mathus?

Where's the pics, Holmes?

Sup Campy!!!

Long time dude, I'm Dustin the cobwebs off. All is well, the picture things got me baffled. I did switch email addresses, dunno what's up...maybe I'll just repost them all.

Looks like i'm buying the porterbuilt unit. Sd only makes a 1/2 ton version. I'm stoked!

I'll get this thread cleaned up this week. I'll probably be ordering this unit soon. Gonna confirm with the owner and get on it.

Man I couldn't get back in here again, it kept kicking me out....then I saw the big flashing green sign atop the webpage!

Ok guys I just paid Nate at Porterbuilt Last week for the full pkg raised cross member for the 77 dually.

Basically everything you see here, except the bags and steering rack.
I bought a new rear chrome dif cover for the Dana 44 out back, and all new royal purple fluids for the motor, trans and rear end.

When it shows up i'm sending it out to powder coat it black and im going to pull the front end off and paint the firewall and motor...then stuff it back in and finish up the body and paint.

Can't wait. Nate is super cool and the amount of drop and tuck you get with the kit looks impressive!

So the stuff from Nate showed up. Its out at powdercoating and hopefully going in soon. I just need to line up everything at the shop...the truck takes up half of it, so I need to get one days work ahead before I can spend one day with it taking up so much room.
