In case anybody cares?

Who cares?

You blew that shit down to nothing, man. Makes me taking the cab of my 3500HD off the frame look like it was amateur hour. No way I wanted to blow it down to the nuts and bolts.

Nice work.

You still mad at me for teasing you with the whole "forgot you had a truck" thing? Huh? U MAD BRO?

Yeah, I blew that bish apart. You know how it goes...trans goes south, so you figure you may as well rebuild the motor while you're going to all the trouble, so you yank the front clip to make pulling the engine/trans easier, and you think to yourself, "the bed is only 6 bolts and I'd really like to clean the frame off". Before you know it, off comes the bed and you think, "the cab is only 6 bolts"...and the rest is history.

I'm starting to put her back together now. Got the front and transmission crossmembers bolted in (w/ all new Grade 8 hardware courtesy of the nut & bolt bins @ work ) New upper & lower balljoints for the control arms, new tie rod ends, new adjuster sleeves, new sway bar bushings, new pitman arm, steering box rebuild kit...basically a brand new front end.

Gonna try to wrap up the front end this weekend, then move on to the chassis harness, brake and fuel lines. I'm trying to source a 20' stick of seamless brake tubing so I can run my rear brake line in one piece, but I'll settle for two 10'ers if I have to.

I also need to source a plumbing/wiring diagram for my fuel tanks. Not sure if the TBI setup is different than the way it's currently set up. I did mention I was swapping over to TBI, didn't I?

...and you know I love you, Knee-grow.

you probably heared of this before but we used to straighten out coiled copper tubing by unrolling it with one end in a vice on a heavy table clamping the other and in some hefty pliers and pulling on it / ploink it a couple times you need someone to support it and take it out of the vise after its straight and lay it on the ground
works verry whell if you make a template from copper instalationwire (house electrics) you can make the bents in the brakeline while its on the floor and move it intoo the chassis in one piece and keep it in place with some help from a few persons untill its bolted in
a couple of 10 year olds can do it it doesnt weigh mush
