Well, I figured I would start this thread today, since today I recieved my shippment from suicide doors.com. Well, half of it anyways. Here is what I got today.

I noticed it was only 4 boxes, and the order was supposed to be 5 boxes. No big deal, so I call ups to find out what happened to the other box. They tell me that it got held up fpr some reason, and should be here on monday. Cool, no harm. They also tell me that the box is smaller, and only weighs 3 pounds. So I start checking out my order, and find out, I am missing alot more then 3 pounds worth of stuff. Here is a list of things I am missing.

2 airlift easystreet 200psi dual needle guages
1 double guage panel
2 slam specialties re8 bags
2 viar 400 silver comp.
1 panhard bar kit

Before I go any further, let me tell you that I have had a great expeiriance dealing with SD.com, and have all the faith in the world that they will make this right.

So I call up SD.com and ask them about my order, and they tell me that the bags, and comp. are on back order, and the bags should ship out next week. Never got a definat answer on the viar comps. As far as the panhard bar, they are not sure why I didnt get it. They are supposed to be checking with the wharehouse guys to find out, and call me back today. As far as the guages and guage panel, we both think that it is in the package that is supposed to be coming in on monday. I guess we will find out.

Dont get me wrong, I didnt start this thread to rag on SD.com. This thread is to show yall how my bag project is coming along. As progress continues, I will post up more pics.

This si the first bagged truck I will own, so I am new at this. If at any time during this build yall have any questions comments, or suggestions, please post up. Like I said I am new at this. The guy doing the work for me is a buddy of mine that used to work at a shop called Super Sprort Customs. Well, they have long closed thier doors, so now he does bag jobs on the side out of his shop at his house. This will be the 3rd dually that he has done.
I told him I didnt want anything elaborate. Just something simple and functional, and I want to not have any problems towing my boat, or my 31 foot bumper pull travel trailer. He told me to give the project a month, since he can only work on it in the evenings, and on weekends. No problem, I have a work truck I can drive in the mean time, and dont even have to pay for the gas I use. LOL

And so the saga begins...................

Yea, I have faith in them. Not tro supprised that they didnt call back this afternoon being that its friday. I'm sure they were in a hurry to start the weekend just as much as I was. I'll try to call back on monday.

We are gonna run a 2 link with the panhard bar, with bags over axle

I am not sure about the Air Lift bags but if I remember right...My Slam Specialties bags shipped straight from Slam Specialties. I think the Via-Air compressors do to. I think thats how it worked when my stuff was ordered..Jason and the boys are good dudes. Never really had any reall problems with them either. Is that a jet boat in your pic? I have a 79'..18' haiwiian jet boat with a 468 big block.. Do you have any pics of the truck as it sits now? We like pics!!

I kinda figured that was what was gonna happen. That sd.com would just have the bags, and comp.s drop shipped to me. When I called them up, they were very helpfull, and seemed to be realy trying to help me out. I will call them again on monday afternoon to see what they figured out on my panhard bar.

The boat is a 75 southwind jetboat. By far, my favorite toy. Got any pics of your boat?
You can see more pics of the boat here.

Got my guages and guage panel in today, along with a note in the box that said my bags, comps, and panhard bar are on back order, and if I had any questions to give them a call. So I called em up, and they told me they just finished up a batch of panhard bars, so they should ship out this week, and something shipped out today, but they arent sure what it was. The package wieghed 12 pounds according to ups, so they think it is my bags. They are drop shipping my comps, so they were gonna call viair to find out why they havnt shipped out yet.

Panhard bar came in today. So now the only thing I am waiting on is my bags, and my comps.

I still need to put in an order for my fittings, and I was going to add a steel roll pan to the order as well. I wanted to wait till everything I already ordered came in before I put in a second order, but at this rate I think I better not. I dont want this project to have to stop to wait on fittings to get here.

Ya they are way cool over there, whenever someone has a problem they fix it...fast. Usually cause they know we like to chat on internet forums...lol.

I'm sure by the end of next week you'll have your stuff.

Are you guys building the two link?

It's not my way of rolling, but some guys like em, and run them without problems, so do what you're comfortable with...we'll be here...watching...
