Life started as a City of Bryan W/T 2wd, 4.3L, TH375, 10-bolt with 2.73 gears in 2001.
Met Chris Moore from Texas Customs and he and I put our heads together and came up with the idea of a phantom dually
Dropped it 9" in the back and 5" in the front via fliped axle w/ 3" shackles, 2" spindles and cut coils with BellTech shocks on all 4 corners. Replaced both cab corners and primered it black. And a friend gave me a homeade cowl hood (heavy as hell). 29x18.5 M/T Sportsmans and 205/65R15 General, and put a 96+ GMC grill on
Ran the 4.3L for about 6 months until I blew a connecting rod nut threw the oil pan (smoked like a James Bond car). A friend of mine built a 350 out of an 82 'burban. Bored it .030" with flat top 9:1 c/r, Crane torque cam, stock 1.5"/1.9" heads, Edelbrock Performer intake with Performer 600cfm carb., FlowTech (cheap-o) black shortie headers with custom 2.25" true-dual eXhaust dumpung before the axle with FlowTech mufflers (I swear they sound just like Flowmasters). Got the engine bay and motor painted while they were out by Chris
Got it painted Semi-Gloss Black (was supposed to be Satin Black)
Swapped in a 10-bolt with 3.42 and limited-slip (burn clutches with my first burn out) and killed my Sportsmans
So this past income tax I bought a couple M/T SSRadials 31x18 (fuckers aint cheap, $635 with a buddy deal)
So now Ive decided to change up my interior a bit and build a custom dash
so thats where Im at now, it's taking a while with a family and all but it will be worth it
