I always liked the idea of a layed out dually diesel w/ the exhaust dumped out the passenger side ...belching black soot on the (Hybrid/Smartcar) next to me...
I also like it w/ the shell on it too. (kind of different and old school look)
no Dashlights.. and yes the previous owner had it happen when its cold out.. i drove it back when it was about 65 out for 2 hrs and it was perfect.. but then at night around 40 degrees i headed downtown to cruise the strip and it wouldnt shift out of 3rd..
I was told it was something to do with the computer for the transmission... is this a possibilty?
and if i do bag the dually what kind of bags do you guys recomend running?
if the engine temp doesnt come up enough, it will not shift into overdrive. does it have a thermostat in it? there should be 2 temp sensors on it, 1 for the computer, and 1 for the gauge, i would start there... later, brian
