so your front bumper is off a 82 chevy dually? you mentioned it was a specifically 82 only. just was curious man. is it alot diff than the 81-82 version ?

i was comparing it too the one i found at lmc its a 81-82 bumper and its close, i cant tell if its an illusion or is there a metal strip or something that runs the whole length of bumper, right above the license plate from side to side. it didnt look like your bumper had that. maybe its just my eyes. hope you can help. thanks man.

I believe you can get it with or without a black plastic strip similar to the one that runs across my rear bumper.

I appreciate it. I am just starting to work on mine. I even started a thread today. I really want to model mine after yours. Not copy, but go in that same direction. I hope ya don't mind me hitting you up with questions from time to time. thanks man.

The Heavy Chevy is finally out of body shop prison. Whenever I did the exhaust the first time the engine was stock. After all the engine mods the 2 1/4" pipe was a restriction so now it's 3" all the way. I got the dash wrapped, the bed lined and finally installed the tach.

3" header reducers, X-pipe, and Dynomax Race Bullets. It Sounds tough and the way everything was run I have even more ground clearance than before.

Around 9:1 463 c.i, ported 781's with bigger valves, Performer RPM Air Gap, Holley 750hp, Comp pushrods-roller tip rockers- valve springs- and baby .515/.520 flat tappet cam, Patriot 1 3/4 in. mid length headers with the above mentioned exhaust, Carter 7psi. elect. pump.
I estimate around 400 plus at the motor? It will be on a dyno later.

My original plans were to bag the truck. I wish I had gone with more bore, compression, and done a roller conversion when I had the engine rebuilt along with doing some internal mods on the TH400.
