Peeled the previous company lettering off the doors and bedsides. Naked again and looking much better! A little bit of the paint peeled off in weak spots but overall still in good shape.
I couldn't stand looking at the beat-up old Chevy grille that was stuck on there so I slapped on a good used OEM GMC grille and some new corners and park lamps; grille needs to be painted black and I've got another set of clear OEM style corner lenses coming in. Also need to polish up the headlights.
Almost looking like my extended cab's big brother again.
On a whim I mounted an air dam to the bumper; I think it looks pretty good and will probably pick up one for this truck - but a regular solid one, not the style with the tow hook holes. Trucks above 8,500 lb GVWR didn't come with the air dam from the factory, for whatever reason.
