if you ever decide to body drop your truck. you are probably going to need these. its a Afco 30304 Steering U-joint for your steering column . ( 3/4 inch 48 spline )
i bought mine on ebay for $35.00. it was going to cost me 76.00 from speedwayparts.com. but im a cheap bastard and refuse to pay full price...

it takes 3 u-joints to be able to steer the truck again. here they all are.. cost me around 113.00 for all 3. better than spending over 200 for all of them from speedway...

not quiet...built about half my exhaust for it today...i used headers made for a LS1 firebird and there shortys that bolt up to stock exhaust...long story short they have a funky flange only on LS!firebirds and camaros and it took me forever to track down a stock y pipe off on of them cars buts its almost done...need to post some pics if i wasnt so lazy

i just used some stock 99 up silverado hangers that we took off a truck we bagged with a KP 6 link...it comes with new hangers so we removed the stock ones and i just used those and welded them to the frame...i did move them alot further away from the rear end so i could run a longer bar for less pinion angle change and to have plenty of room to mount my bags off the bars
