Oh I've taken lots of pics so far. Update on the progress: The rear 4 link is done except for building shock mounts. I mocked up the front suspension for a test fit, (with the modified lower control arms and 3" drop spindles) everything fit great and the angles were good. I installed the hub/rotor assembly then test fit the new wheels (Eagle Alloy 058, 16"x6") and they didn't tuck in the wheel well.

So now its time to modify the control arms again and shorten them by about an inch to gain clearance at the wheel. At the same time, Doug (my buddy that does a lot of the fabrication) is going to build a jig for the upper and lower control arms so he can build a set of tubular arms later.

Hopefully by the end of the week or first part of next week, I will be able to pull the TH400 trans out and install the 4L80E trans and wiring harness. I'm looking forward to having overdrive!

I got my control arms back from Doug yesterday. Lowers are 1 inch shorter and plated. Uppers are 1 inch shorter, re-angled the ball joints down 5 degrees, and plated. All have been re painted and have new ball joints in the uppers and lowers. The plan is later today, to re install that control arms and test fit the wheels.

Doug and I got some more progress done last night. Shortening the control arms fixed my wheel fitment problems. Started cutting the driver wheel well out for the tire to pass through and realized that I needed more room that I originally thought. Ended up taking the door off and had to remove the lower door hinge for tire clearance. Later on we will have to move the hinge up to clear the tire.

But as of last night, we are within 2 inch of it from laying out flat. The upper ball joint is now maxed out and is limiting any more travel up into the body. Here are a few pictures from last night.
