Don't remind me of the timeline.... but yeah I'll be there for sure. The goal is to have the bus driving by then, worst case scenario, I'll bring it down on a trailer if it's not drivable.

Well the moment you've all been waiting for... We set it on the ground for the first time yesterday. I cut the step off, cleaned under/around the bus, and got the floor jack out. After it was on the ground... I couldn't stop smiling for a couple of hours.

We put it back up on jack stands to modify the trans mount (due to the pan laying on the ground). Doug finished tacking the driver's side wheel well in place and we called it a day.

freakin sweet as hell. you just going to put the bus seats back in and call it good or you plan something for the interior?

Long bench seats that run along the windows (front to back)

Well we have been busy! Devin is almost done with the modifications to the under hood and under dash wiring harness. The frame for the floor is almost done... Still need to do the rear wheel tubs, the driver door has been trimmed but has not been tubbed yet, the rest of the stereo equipment and interior has been ordered, and the steering is getting closer to working again.

Still need to sheet metal the floor, tub the door, section the pass door, finish the wiring, install the gas tank, and put the dash and column back in place for it to be drivable..... 11 days to go before the show!

Man, I just saw you're from Poulsbo. Isn't that a fairly small place up in WA? A guy that used to work for me was from there.

Yeah, its a small Norwegian town near the Puget Sound, with a population of around 8500 people

Man, you need some of those "kneeling bus" stickers, or to take them and modify a little bit to make it your own but still keep the "real" looking element of them:
