I know the feeling!
I was driving down the highway and had a rear axle retaining nut fracture at one of the woodcroft key notches, slide off the spindle (topping off all the threads) and then of course the axle/drum/wheel starts coming out. The axle end beat up the carrier tapered bearing too, so I had to get a new rear and press new bearings onto my posi carrier because the used rear I picked up had an open diff.
Finally get that fixed, drive it twice, and a tire blows out IN MY DRIVEWAY SITTING STILL! WTF! They are used 19.5's, and they looked a little scuffed up on the sidewalls, but I thought these things were supposed to be pretty tough. Live and learn...
