Not sure what you got now, looks like a 215 85 16 or a 235 85 16...to keep some height in the overall but with a lower profile, go with a 225 75 16, just over 29 inches; a 215 85 16 is just over 30.

As for the wheel color I've seen some stockers in gloss black with chrome lugs, looks clean, and simple to do.

So I am new to the whole duallyscene. My buddy who's truck it is has now decided he wants a set of 22's. Being a total noob in this department of dually customization. What will have to be done to make it work. The truck is bagged in front and rear, has 4 link suspension, and drop spindles up front. Its a 1 ton. What kind of problems could I possibly run into. Whats the widest wheel for the rear and how wide for the front. And lastly somewhere on here I believe I read that on a dually with semi's.. On the rear some are running 22's as the outer wheel and a smaller wheel on the insides.? was i understanding that correctly?

Updates on the wheels ? ......gonna do 22's or ?

as for the wheels just for now I am gonna have the stock ones sandblasted then powder coated and put some lower profile tires on them. Right now they are 85-16's 'huge sidewall' . He is gonna go 22's but probably not for about a month. What would be a good size to run on the stock wheels? He wants a 50 series I believe. any suggestions?

leave the 85 series.. you tuck half wheel.

lower profile doesnt look right on the 16's

Hopefully somebody can make this easy for me. Gonna have the rear end narrowed on my 77 1 ton camper special. Whats everybody's measurements for the rear end. Keep in mind I am planning on running 22's on all six wheels. The truck is bagged and 4 link'd and drop spindles. Also I ended up putting cups in the LCA's. will have some picks and updates later today. Let me know. Sending out the rear end tomorrow
THANKS
