Jeremy your the shit. Love All the builds you do. I have a 97 and I'm getting ready for 24s myself. Couple of questions. What size tire does he run? how much did you narrow the rearend? Do you know about the c&c rearend? If so, is it narrower than that?

Also, is he running 4 24s in the rear? Tucking stock fender, no stretch?

Sorry but I have a million and 1 questions.

Thanks for following all my builds!
As for your questions...
What size tire does he run? 275/30R24

how much did you narrow the rearend? 10"

Do you know about the c&c rearend? I actually used the axles from a c&c. Narrowed the dually hosing to fit.

If so, is it narrower than that? Same width, however the brake drums are a different design and won't fit the 16" inners.

Also, is he running 4 24s in the rear? no, running the factory inners with different size tires to match the outer diameter of the 275/30R24's. There is enough room to fit the four 24's in the rear, but it will rub on corners depending on how much body roll you have.

Tucking stock fender, no stretch? Stock fenders!

I have to give credit to Todd at Lowboy Motorsports. He is the one who provided me with all the info above.

I was hoping to get an idea what it would cost to have the axle tubes cut, rewelded, and axles cut and machined or new ones made.
I really dont want my truck any wider than it already is! Like the stock fender narrow rear look much better.
I can do the rearend but dont have the ability to do the axles.

Very cool truck. Damn I need some arms!!!!

So Jeremy,

I just put my 24s on and they poke out real bad. Do those arms bring the wheels in or was something else done to help clear the fenders?

Also do the wheels touch the fender in the back when layed out?

You put the 24's on at stock height? What's done to the truck? The control arms I used from Michigan Metal Works are designed to be used with 3/4 ton brake rotors/ hubs, not the dually 1 ton stuff.
Wheels do not touch the fenders in the back, but the axle is narrowed 10".

What are the fender emblems off of?
