Here I Go........

First.......Get Ur Stuff

Next....duct Tape up your hole. Missing alot of the dash, so gonna make a mold. Tape as tight as possible!

Cut out your mat. Make sure its larger than the hole

Mix up your resin. FOLLOW DIRECTIONS!!!!! And I suggest wearing some rubber gloves....It's Sticky Stuff. Use cheap a throw away paint brush and brush it on. Start with your edges first and work way outward not inward. the mat starts taking on weight and sags so....work your way out

Let it dry for about a half hour or so (depending on the weather). Just till its firm and can hold the shape. Then pull it off. The duct tape will come with it. Flip it upside down and pull the duct tape off. It comes off real easy. Then your left with a top mold. throw it in the sun for a half hour or so.

Now, trim it with some sheers, air saw or die grinder slightly larger than the hole and slip it under the dash.

Grab some of this at your local hardware store. the stuff i use can be trimmed,shaped,sanded and painted. try to find something like it if you cant find this stuff

Filler up

Looks messy and wrong but after a while it starts to cure and mold together and look like this

Now just wait over night and ya can start shaping and sculpting it till it looks like a dash again. Then its ready for the repair. this is just to get the shape for the final repair. I couldn't take the dash out because it would have fell apart in a couple different pieces. So this is to make it whole again and be able to be removed as one for the repair.
