thanks for the link , yeah in my case had to cut the fenders bcuz of the 3" body drop and i was not willing to sacrifice my steering to run srw front hubs it was the only way the lugs would clear the fender lip

ok its been a while since ive posted an update ...but i have been busy working on the truck...the truck is currently running ,but not driving, i still have to weld the driveshaft up..i shortened it about 14" and have all the parts machined but my welder crapped out so im waiting to use my friends welder..

voltage regulator wired up and the alt is putting out 14.2..

now im on to the most dredded part of the build in my opinion ....stretching the fenders ughhhhhh... fiberglass work is nasty and soooo messy.
thread post photo

made all my cut lines with masking tape and used an airsaw worked well and used 1-1/2 aluminum flat stock held to the fender with 1" sheetrock screws.. so i ended up raising them about 2" and widening about 4"...its more work than i thought and there are so many angles to try and match up.

this is after the first round of glassing its about 3 layers deep so far gonna let it harden overnight .. i used tin flashing on the underside of the fender riveted to the fender to create a troff for the glass to lay in ....so far seems good
