1984 Single Cab Square

Yeah, sounds like the wrong one. Did you bench bleed it before installing? All 4 wheels bleed out good? Any leaks anywhere?

brakes would not bleed since the piston was atleast 75% depressed. I did find out that long rod setups are like pre 80 or 79. and somewhere down the line my truck must of had an older unit installed. took the 84 master cylinder back and got a 79 and all worked! gravity bled and should be all good. need to buy a power steering cap and do my driveshaft seal on the trans and the trans pan gasket. then most of the leaks will be accounted for and fixed.

Well quick update. got the brakes 100% figured out! so long as the hydroboost booster is good to go then i believe i have a power steering cap to get and replace the rear trans seal and pan gasket. Then i will be getting it on the road and ironing out the smaller maintenance items through the next coming weeks! Once all the maintenance items have been gone over it will be play time.

It really sucks when you have to check over everything since the p.o. seemed to forget that vehicles actually need to be properly fed and cared for
