Bed is finally on. Our frame is actually from a flatbed, so it was a little too long and the wheelbase is too. Awesome.

Welded in a piece of 1/4 DOM so we could cut the back of the frame off.

The back of the bed is about half an inch off the frame because of our angle.

Dropped the front on the ground. Literally. Had to cut the fender lip so the studs and lug nuts could clear. We might rock this look for a while before we order the dually wheels and fenders. Made the supports for the raised section of bed. Still need to dimple and weld them obviously. I may or may not have broken every part of our press multiple times doing dimples. We're going to tack them together and on the frame, then wait until we upgrade presses to finish them.

Our photo bucket is still giving me problems, so our posts have been less organized and clean. The bed looks way better with this piece we're graphing back in. Bossman ordered some sweet sheet metal clamps and magnetic copper backing plates to make working on this less of a royal pain. Made up some tiny bed bolt mounts for the rear.

this post sucks with no pictures. the work is too good to not be able to see

Uhhh thanks? Lol. It will take me many hours to fix it, if I ever have the time. Obviously we're not happy about it either.

So bossman wanted the rear of the truck redone with 5x3 anyway, so we moved the axle forward where it needed to be.

Used the old one as a template. These things are stupid heavy. I was pretty tired and tweaked at the end of that day.

Support for the front of the bed, welded and dimpled finally. Press 2.0 is WAY better.

If you've dimpled things and actually wanted them to go together straight, you know this struggle.

Middle supports for the front of the bed.

Rear support for the front of the bed. Forgot to get a pic.

Wheel tubs are tacked in. It was a good wrestling match trying to shove those in there.

The left one sat on the bag and went crooked for some reason, I'll get to that tomorrow.
