Looks like quite the project! Fairly new to the site and judging from the 1st post, it appears there might be a back story or additional information on the build.

New to lowering vehicles, but have a similar ford dually project on air coming up in the near future.

I have some questions on the front suspension:

1. What year of Chevy components did you use? Are some years better than others?
2. Drop spindles?
3. If not doing a full "front half" frame replacement, is the subframe the only way to mount the Chevy arms?
4. Is it best when using the Ford frame to cut the pockets in for the upper arms? Or can the uppers be mounted above the frame (like stock on the Chevy's), and bag indents be welded in?
5. Any advantage to using the factory Ford steering components vs. using the Chevy Rack and Pinion?
6. What is your front hub to hub (or wheel mount surface to wheel mount surface) width with the current suspension?

... And Finally....
7. How did you run your exhaust? Are you going "over axle" in rear?

Doing tons of research and having trouble coming up with many specific answers for guys doing this on Fords. You and the Reyna Bros. Ford are the only ones I've been able to find any info or pictures on.

Thanks!
