i would lift up the rear end as hight as i want it to go, then have the bag to be compress all the way at this point. this way you know this is the lowest point of the truck when is aired out. this way you can adjust the hight how you want it and you still have plenty of lift if needed (of course depend alot on your bag set up). otherwise you will be limiting the stroke of your bag. for example lets say your rear end is already at the bump stop,( if you have any) and your bag still 3" away form being copressed. those 3'' are not helping in any way,you are loosign lift and adding more air to get the lift you want. less air smoother ride. i hope i explain my self.

Awesome!!! Ok at the compressed position (starting at 3") what is there a minimum air pressure you need to have? Can you damage the bag if the pressures at 0?

no it wont hurt anything to have 0psi in your bags....that's what mine have everytime I lay my truck out
