New to the forum

Hi,
I recently got an '88 b2600 and was looking for info on it when I came across this forum. I have alot of questions but just wanted to say hello first.

I had to drop my gas tank to replace the fuel pump and the tank is near perfect except for the metal nipples for attaching the hoses for the evaporation system. How important are these? do I need a new tank or will the truck run fine if the system is not fully intact. I had also posted this in the tech section, so, I f this is the wrong place sorry. By the way, I'm in NH where they dont have an emissions test, if that makes a difference ? Thanks

you say your pump is intank, is it carbureted or fuel injected? some carbureted trucks came with in-tank pumps, but mostly from california

if it is fuel injected, then you probably have a different tank and my post on your other thread probably would not apply to you because i have a carbed truck
