Funny you should comment on the "vent windows" in the doors. Just this week Ive got new doors and they have been converted over to the one piece glass, looks much cleaner now I think.

Those vent windows were only on the very first models over here, after a year or so we then got the one piece glass like you guys have. Ive only seen a hand full of mazdas over here with them as well.

As for the rear, Ive just got to get my rollpan in and finish stitching up all the welds. Then Its time to strip the paint and get the bodywork and paint done.

Heres A pic of inside the tray, its going to change slightly due to the caddies being recessed into the tailgate, but that will just be a slightly boxed section.


You guys might get a kick out of the stock RHD as well... Mind the multicoloured interior ha ha.

you can really see those vent windows well in that last pic. i have never seen a mazda with those! put them back on, hurry!!!!!!!
actually that would be something expected on the pre-85 mazdas, but havent seen it on those either.
and more wood grain, more wood grain!!!!!!!!

Ha ha... the wood grain is gone now as well. Billet wheel replaces the wooden one.

And those vent windows just looked crap I reckon. One peice just looks easier on the eye, and much quieter when driving.

Air used to rush in through the 1/4 glass when all the windows were up, and nothing I did could stop it.

will be stoked to see this thing at ECC, I think both our trucks are at a pretty similar stage of construction at the moment... Will be nice to have a couple extra "completed" 'Dawgs at Bateman's Bay!

Question you had spindles in the front? But you took them out? Whys that?

Spindles are gay I reckon...

They widened my wheel track, and they made my control arm sit 85mm to the ground. IE: illegal as the truck at any height was still under the 100mm requirement.

Anyway I can drive lower on 2wd sheetmetal with stock spindles asthe wheels tuck harder
