sticky gas pedel

its not the carb or the throttle cable what could it be? the gas pedel sticks when you hit a certain speed

sames happenin to me. idk what it is. if you find out let me know bro

yeah i will i cant think of what it would if tis not the carb or the cable mabye the pivot on the pedel lickage is sticky but it only happens when it hit like 55-60 it weird same to you if you figure it out let me know

Have you tried cleanin the carb and carb linkage with some carb cleaner? ? ?

i did that even though it ia all brand new like mabye 3 mths and never did before like a week ago

maybe let your foot off the pedal.. that could cause it.. lol

Anybody ever figure out this? My cable seems to be sticking periodically. Was looking at the Electronic choke stuff and the linkage trying to see why my choke doesnt work. Guess i maybe stretched the return spring out messin with the linkage a handfull of times.

I tried this, kinda helped but theres a strange "pop" in the gas pedal.
Tried to attach a Pic of what I believe is the problem. The "rod" that goes in and out of this part is kinda dirty but real hard to get to without taking the entire carb off. Think this is what keeps getting stuck open and causing the gas pedal to "stick" sometimes.

Found a pic of what I think might be the prob.

Think I need to grind the throat of this linkage arm wider, looks to be the problem of the pop I'm guessing.
