sticky gas pedel

Think I maybe bent the shaft that all the linkage sits on. Seems like it is kinda loose to me. Is there supposed to be any wiggle room for the rod that all the linkage sits on?

Pulled a Holley 5210 off a 75 vega today, so hope this works good.
