so a small cnotch would still allow me to keep my stock floor and lower it fairly well? I seen some pictures someone had of 3" blocks with the axle flipped that would be about right. Topper is off, it will get cleaned up this week. Re-align the hood and fenders, asses the body to see were im sitting for dents and go from there.

Do a search for pipe notch here on the forum. Should be a thread with pics so you can see what I'm talking about.

Your truck is 2wd, you won't need to do an axle flip. If you do, you'll lift the truck not lower it.

You can make you own like the guys said orbuy some mini notches, these are bolt ons but I would weld em in.

i seen on here somewere they had steps to replacing the head gasket? now i cant find it, any ideas?

WOOOOHOOOOO! topper is off, head gasket is replaced and there is no more smoke!!! gotta track down some vac leaks, and get an airfilter but she dont run bad!. gas guage doesnt work......bummer lol.

thanks baha, lol basic stuff right now, i keep looking at motor swaps......event the v8s are pretty simple. ugh, gotta stay away from that stuff. driving it to work tom, to clean it up a little bit, fix an exhaust leak.
