Hey todd, I am the guy who just PMd you threw Ratsun about your Patty Joy 720 a few day back...Ryan who bought your mazda is my nephew ..ya that is me!!!

its funny how many ratsuners i run into on here....i remember that mazda from a show at either seattle center or at puyallup... i was in ground vision way back when showtime, sweet and low and sittin pretti...ruled the club scenes... i think i may even have apic of that truck from a show in my old collection of truck show pics...i will have to look...

i remember that dunn-esque(looked like kenny g's dopple ganger...stripped a few of my relatives cars...) pin stripping on the frame and the super sweet quad monza tips ...

Ya I started out in Sweet and Low, and then when that club got a bit to big I started Lo N Behold, and about 2 yrs later I went a joined up with several guys from Sweet and Low who started Showtime Minis. I was with them until the end and then I started up Lo n Behold again. In fact I still have the logo on the back of my datsun.
I was thinking of trying to get a something new going again. I think it would be fun to have some guys to show and cruise together...
So what did you have back in the day..after my Mazda got stolen I bought one of Showtime club memebers truck a 89 Nissan xcab. It was features in Mini Truckin...I only drove it for a few years then sold early 2000...

those pics remind me of resolutions for some reason, i always wanted to attend reso at some point(it was my minitrucking woodstock...).... man i miss minitrucking in the 90's....i remember back in the day when the bumps were under the canopy and on cruise night we could roll with the canopy door up just pounding the beats....my buddy had 4 18's in the bed of his snugtopped mazda and the bass made the canopy do the most unnatural things...i cant believe it didnt cave in with all the shuttering....

back in the day i had a 1986 black b2000 lx ex cab.... ironically alomost the same truck i have now.....and when i see people from back then they all think its the same truck..... i call the new one mazda 2.0....any way it was tucking static with a mini notch in the back djms up front and re indexed torsions chrome bumper and grill....i ran some reversed enkies before i tucked it with dearched rears and the djms....and ran the ultra 6 spoke wheel where three spokes were black and three were chrome...and they twisted....it wasnt full show just a nice driver....was painted with sikkens base coat clear coat back when it first came out

one of the last shows i attended with that truck before getting the first set of 17's on my accord in thurston county was i beleive a sittin pretti show at bellevue community college....and a show in renton or lynwood at some parts store right off the highway...

fuck the days of walk throughs, double woper blades and five panel wink mirrors those were the days....


i'm gonna go scan some old pics from back then.....i like the hardbody irionically i wanted to off the mazda and get a hb but instead fell inlove with my first mini a mazda...and now my datsun 521

and i may be wrong but the pic of the hardbody is from a show at fort lewis where they also had a sound comp with spl and sound quality....i went to that a few times too....it was one of the bases if not fort lewis...

You are actually wrong,,,the top photo of the whole truck is from Oregon Main Event in Salem in 95..where is t was actually shot for the feature in Mini Truckin. same show my Datsun 620 was shot for Mini Truckin..and the lower photo of just the front is at Clark Co. Fair grounds in Vancouver Wa, at The Pacific Style Show in 99.
So the rims you ran on your Mazda back in the day where Elite Vipers..That is what I had on my 620 back in the day...I am starting to see some of them surface again..old school is coming back..

yup those are them but in black.....wow shocker i am wrong according to my wife that happens all the time but i beg to differ...
