not sure if an actual rx7 short shifter will work or not, havent looked into it... but with how much i lopped my shifter it only moves forward/back maybe 2 inches...? the 7 buckets are pretty easy, just had to drill a few holes, and use 1 nut/bolt combo on the passenger seat to bolt them to b series rails. i know there are a few other guys in greensboro

From what I have been reading, the shifter itself may be slightly different, but for 25 bucks I am willing to order one and try it. My only real concern is the fact the shifter will no longer have a bend in it, and I don't feel like punching my radio every time i shift to 3rd lol. When the shifter gets here, I will do a full writeup on it.

Nice truck and Talon, the car is very clean. Its interesting going from something with some real horsepower to a B truck with less than 100HP! I bought my b2000 as a daily driver while I fix my former daily driver MK3 Supra, and it makes me sad when I floor the truck and it feels as though I never hit the pedal, lol. Still a very fun little truck to drive around though.

welcome man im in Greensboro also i think ive seen your car at the sonic meet on thursdays? but i drive the slammed 87 mazda and i have buckets if you wanna come look at them one day but they arent rx7s or anything

Welcome to the forum dude. Truck looks very clean. Id do a full restore on it back to brand new stock.

There isn't really a whole lot wrong with the truck that needs attention. The valve cover gasket was leaking, so I replaced that today lol. The sliding back glass rattles something bad, the seals are probably shot, I'd like to put a solid rear window in it and tint the windows to cut down on heat ( this truck came with no AC or power steering stock) If I really do much more to it, it will all be really simple stuff that won't require any hacking and I can easily revert back to original. The truck is going to get resprayed the stock white, and I am going to see what I can do about getting the original graphics traced and redone in vinyl, or actually get them painted on.

yeah deff come out thursday ill bring the seats they have a couple rough spots but you can just use seat covers if you ever need a hand with the truck let me know. where you at in greensboro?
