Thanks for the response turns out I had some more room on the torsion bars after all now I need to lower the rear about 3"!

This is how low I've got it set I'll be dropping the rear another 2"s any opinions (lower or higher?

I wouldn't go any lower up front. When you turn the tires will rub the fenders.

Yeah I agree with Chase unless you roll your fenders you will probably rub. There are guys on here running real low static drops (lower than yours is currently) tucking tire fine, but I believe they all have rolled fenders and or smaller wheel and tire combo. What blocks are you running in the rear? And are you running all your leafs? I'm going to run what a friend of mine did remove the two inner leafs, remove front and rear bump stops, 4'' angled block, c notch in frame just for clearance when I haul my bike, up front re index the torsion bars 3 or 4 splines depending on where it sits, and a good set of lowered shocks. That's the max I will go on a static since mine is my daily too, that is plenty low for me. Look in the lowering static forums there are plenty of guys set ups and how to do's in there man.

Check out this link gives you info on what other members are running for static drops and pics so you can see where you will be sitting hope this helps man....

Nice Ute and love the shortening and the look of the tear wheels close up to the cab I had the same thoughts to do that to mine and a raked channeled cab and no front guards bonnet etc just negotiating a price on a supercharged 383 but in no hurry still loving the tunnel rammed 302 currently running
Cheers for your pics so I can see what the Ute will look like shortened and look forward to watching your updates as for the height personally I've always had mine the same as the front so it sits level on the road a bit boring I know and not too low that it bottoms out on every speed hump mainly because I like to go on alot of long drives and the roads here are not that forgiving
Go for it on great ute
