Hey blacksheep,

If Cusser hasn't scared you off in one day, a record I might add, post your Qs here or on Mazdatrucking.com. You will definitely receive a lot of help.

Most guys here mod their trucks while most on MT fix and keep their trucks stock. Sounds like you are thinking a bland of that which is fine with us.

As for your truck, the FE swap is prevalent on MT. Appliance Guy has done two!

As for your oil leak(s). Clean your engine bay and engine to track down where it's leaking. Common issues are: blown head gasket, leaking cam seals, leaking valve cover gasket, leaking distributor shaft seal, plugged PCV and a fe other smaller issues. The only way to start is to clean her up first.

A word of advice meant to help you in the car world. You'll need to grow a thicker skin if you will be hanging out with car guys. Car guys will bust your balls and almost nothing is off limits.

Welcome to the sickness and remember to post pictures, we are all picture whores here.

Everything Dan said is right. Especially us busting each others balls. We are just messing with you man. If you meet us in person we would do the same thing. Cusser is just a grumpy old man.

I would clean your engine then put some oil dye in let it run for a couple minutes. then using a back light and yellow glasses check to see where it is coming from. I had to do the same with my Toyota recently, found my valve cover leaking at the back.

Thank you all for your support!

Yeah, I didnt recieve the proper edumacation here.

As for the plan for my truck, I want a sleeper. Alot of the kids at my school run Hondas and turbo 240sx's, which are fine and dandy, but I own a dirtbike so I sort of need a truck. I race all my friends and the only vehicles I beat are a kia minivan and a Celica. I was thinking along the lines of turbo fe3, miata or rx7 trans, and Pathfinder rear end. Its going to be a daily, so I want to run around 7 lbs of boost. I have been working on cars as long as I could walk, but this will be a challenge. Any leads on parts will be greatly appreciated.

I love the sleeper genre... roll up on an unsuspecting numb nut and lay waste to their ricer!!!
