How cool would it be to have the digital S2000 gauge cluster, seats, and have the exhaust dump from a cutout in the passanger side fender? Have the sucker shooting flames when I wrap it up past 9k rpms.

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK...

I guess it's time to start practicing my welding... Like I said earlier, the fabbing/machining is the easy part for me... I can do that in my sleep, its the putting it all together that'd be tricky. Keep it up guys... Next thing you know, I'll have sold the Si, have a DOPE mini truck, and no fiance.

So I did a search for "F20" "F20C" and "s2000" in the upper right corner of the screen, and nothing of value popped up. Is there anything on the forum about the swap, or am I just searching for the wrong keyword?

I did my homework and checked out a local importer. I can have a JDM F20C motor, tranny, and ECU for $3500. So that's not including the fab work, or wiring.

=|

I hate to say this... But wouldn't a V6/V8 make more sense in this chassis?

depending on the motor, smog laws local to you and inspections, in california unless you can find a same year or newer donor vehicle to get all the smog crap your better off finding a swap such as the one your talking about.

im not sure how texas is smog/inspection wise so you would have to do your research on those aspects of any swap.

i know ive considered a v8 swap also but for the money on a daily driver, im almost better off with the 4cylinder cause i have no need for the torque, horsepower or speed.

I register all my vehicles in a rural county where I grew up where there are no emissions testing or any laws regarding swaps. I could have a helicopter engine if I wanted, they don't care.

There are a handful of counties that do test emissions near the bigger cities. As long as said helicopter motor swap can manage to pass their standards, you're good to go.
