did a little bit of work to her, amazing what a good cleaning and some bed liner can accomplish!

The oil leak is probably the front cam seal or the front crank seal. Not hard to fix really, but you'll have to pull the timing belt off, and the cam gear and harmonic balancer. Might want to loosen the crank bolt and cam bolt, then set the engine at TDC on the #1 cylinder, then remove the TB, cam gear, & HB.

The oil seals are the same exact seals......cam & crank.....and inexpensive......get the FelPro or Mazda seals. Ease a 90

Thanks, none of that sounds simple lol. Ive torn J52's, F404's, and F414's down to nothing, built them back up, threw them on a trailer with some chains secured to the deck and fired them up shooting 22,000lbs + of thrust out of a jet engine held in place by two tie down chains and a yoke with complete confidence. But for some reason you put pistons in an engine and even though the same "suck squeeze bang blow" concept still applies it throws me off. Gonna have to invest in a Haynes manual or something similar so I have torque specs and illustrated parts breakdowns (IPB's) to reference before I start tearing an engine apart. Already learned and familiarized myself alot just with site and tinkering with the engine myself. Definitely going to need a manual or publication though for my own piece of mind.
