4x4 sheetmetal over rated???

I dont know if im the only one in the world that thinks this ( it sorta seems like it) but i think 4x4 sheetmetal is way over rated. i really like the look and lines of the stock 2wd fenders and bed. it seems liek everyones goal that owns a mazda is to find the 4x4 fenders and shit. if you dont believe me look in the mazda parts for sale and wanted forum... every other topic is 4x4 body parts or ppl that find 4x4 stuff on ebay. does anyone else think this?????

4x4 sheet metal just makes it easier when it comes to tucking wheels, rather than have to convert over to a 5 lug set up or spend 6 months trying to find a 6 lug wheel with a big enough back spacing to tuck, then waiting another 6 months to have them made, i dont think its over rated, i just think its an easier less expensive way to be able to tuck wheels with air or juice, but thats just my two pennies

I agree that its over rated, and i agree with making it easier.. but i personally don't really care for the 4x4 fenders and thats why i'm going to put some steelies on mine because you can get those things any size you want.

2wd fenders will work fine for me...im prolly gonna keep the stock 14's cuz they are chrome and i like em.they will tuck fine and look good...however the 4x4 fenders do look smoothe...and if i do get some wheels i want the 16 inch caddy's

i agree i had to roll my back fender wells so i could tuck my escalade wheels.. without the front 4x4 i wouldn't come close to tuckin...

I agree. i like the 2wd fenders way better. they have much better lines.

my brothers nissan has 1 4x4 fender and a 2 wheel drive

Everyone has their own taste. I like the 4x4 stuff because it gives the truck a fatter look. Unlike women I like my truck fat.
