thats stinky man.. don't sell the truck over this though.. so much for proper people. I would have let the guy go and called in a hit and run.. gotten immediate insurance money and would have taught the first tailgate hit and runner a lesson.

i didnt see who did it they were already gone, i do have a daily driver but i took the truck to so i could work on it, but the one manager that was working wouldnt let me leave it in the shop so i parked it out side, and to my insurance its concidered a leasure vehical so im not supposed to take it to work and i dont want to go through insurance anyways, i like to keep my monthly payment at 163$ for both cars fully covered

Yeah i feel your pain.. for a while there i was parking my truck at the VERY LAST parking spot.. and no matter what.. one ass hole would park beside me and open his door and it would swing open and hit my truck.. so what are you gonna do sometimes?

man the exact same thing happened to me, but it was an f-350 that hit me, me and the guy agreed hed pay out of his pocket for the damage but when i gave him the estimate of $850 he shit and said no way, then we agreed hed pay half and i saw nothing, dont trust him, that guys an a-hole and you should know by now, after all he was going to leave without telling you, just go through insurance.....................p.s i still need a tailgate
