scence no one's posting in my thread. can someone answer this quwstion...

stock b2000 a/c compressor, there self lube right? i got one but it doesnt pump or suck air... the cluch kicks on and off, the pistons move in and out but it doesnt pump or push any air?? what could be wrong with.. im running a york right now the it keeps throwing the belt off and im tired of fugging with the york, could i just go buya new compressor, fill it with oil and use it just like the york? ill just have to check the oil everynow and then right?

the factory mazda air compressors have two hoses going off of it.. one is intake the other is compressed output. So if you get a new one you have to hook up an oiler to the intake side, and a water seperator and check valve on the output side going to tank.. they are not self oilers.

err you sure? its got a oil sxcrew in the cas and ive seen a few times other places that some of the sandens are self oilers?? just trying to be sure

run an oiler on the low pressure (intake side)...the what used to be "high pressure" side is going to be the output that goes to the tank

run an oiler, because mazda sandens rely on the refrigerant oil and the actual refrigerant to lube up the compressor, that is also why there is a pressure switch in the a/c system, low refrigerant=low oil=burnt up compressor

so go run an oiler

well, im not sure but theres alot of ppl on SSM sayuing its a dry sump and they ran theres 2 years without any problems and on my compressor its got a oil screw on the case where u put oil so im assumimg its a dry sump also, im gonna get my stock compressor rebuilt monday and just run it and sale the york...
