How safe do you guys feel driving these trucks?

yea my governer is set at 95 on my ranger, but his MPH guage could be off because of the different size rims and tires compared to stock not sure if its true but its a thought...but mine definately cuts the gas off at 95

no, my speedo only goes to 85. lol. Im guessing the bigger tires are throwing off the computer though, but the way i know i was going that fast is because my friend drove right next to me in his car as i had my pedal to the floor, and we were right around 103.

WOW ya many occasions I have burried the bitch in the 15 years I have had it. Not radared but according to other vehicles that have speedo's that go up to 200km/h (120m/h) it can run at 110. (with a bit of back wind). used to take it thru some decent curvies all the time on one of our highways here at 75 m/h quite often till they started to patroll it more often - maybe because of me. lol It was a great stress releiver I tell Ya.

I actually found it QUITE STRESSFUL to drive that fast in a B2200. I didn't care though, I just wanted to get through the wilderness and to my destination. I guess my biggest danger aside from blowing a tire/bearing/etc. was hitting a deer.

Semi's? Yea, lol, they kinda scare me on the highway.

The only reason I went that fast in my B2200 was because I was in the middle of NOWHERE with three lanes of very straight highway. I do NOT endorse endangering your life and driving like a mad person. I knew when I was doing what I did I could easily have wound up dead in that little truck.

Not safe at all, the other day i got in my mazda and drove it, stalled out and the bat died on me.. get it jumped and drive it for 5 mins and the driver side corner light falls off..

low and slow is the only way to go. if i wanted to go fast then i would have bought a vette or an old camaro.

seriously there is no need to drive like a freak on the highway that you SHARE with other people. if you wanna drive fast then take it to a track.

i've seen a couple of people that died on the road because of poor choices.

the first was in pretty heavy traffic in austin on i-35. a girl cut off a semi and she didn't give herself enough room so she wound up clipping his front bumper with her rear. she wrecked and ended up dying at the scene from her injuries. i remember thinking wtf as i saw this car come flying across the road. a few of us pulled over and went over to the car to see a passed out young girl in the front seat. another person that pulled over was a doctor and she gave me her keys to get something out of her car. the girl was 19 or 20 and a student at southwest in san marcos.

the second was a guy driving by himself in the middle of the night somewhere in arizona. he fell asleep, crossed the highway and rolled his blazer. my brothers and i were making a trip to texas so i wasn't exactly sure what city we were near.

anyway all i'm sayin is to drive like you have some sense, take your time and ask yourself if it's really worth it.

Yeah, it wasn't worth it and I like I said I do NOT advocate that at all. Anyways I did get to ensure that my new motor is completely broke in, lol.

i live in gastonia, nc got my 1991 2.6i mzda going 110 on a drag trip in morsville witch is the limit after that it starts twitching and the rpm is maxed. it sucks couse i want to go so much faster. had it 2 1/2 inches from the ground by 4 inch blocks 2 pieces off the leaf springs taken out and losen the tortion bar. did it old school. but got tired of of buying new tires ever six months. and the other bad thing is if u hit a bump on the highway ull keep on bumping for another mile. have some pics on the way. i will discribe her to u tho like i said a 91 mzda 2.6i got dash painted blue, jvc dvd player, 7inch lagacy tft tv, jl audio 12inch w3, bazka 580 watt amp witch only pushes 250 watts realy amps crap, cold air intake, doulble platnium plugs, 9mm wires, 6.5inch polk audio in the back, 4.5inch alpine in the front, two kenwood tweeters in the front too, 2 3/4 stright thru exhaust.

Heres some thing i want to do efi no carb v-8 302 ford compacter series, dana 60 rear end, 4 way bags 1/2 inch lines, tweed interior, and prob think of some for stuff.
