gas prices

Yes we do pay less than canada... BUT our ENTIRE economy is founded on cheap fuel... Not just Gas and diesul... but heating oil and propane...
Somebody tell me why gas prices go up? If a gnat in Antartica farts, its a great reason to raise it... The Market is driven by fear of high gas prices, which creats high gas prices... The "Critics" said gas would be $3+ a gal by the end of the summer... HUMMMM even without Katrina it would STILL be that high... because of artificial shortages and gouging... DID YOU KNOW that here in WI, it takes 6-9 MONTHS for the refined gas to come through the pipelines to the tank farms, then be bought by the gas stations...
SO why does gas prices go up WITHOUT natral catastrofies (Katriena)... for no apparent reason it got hiked frequently a nickle/dime higher... WHY???

yeah it makes no sense to me either, but i think its gonna start getting nasty at gas stations soon, as in more and more people just taking off without paying, i bought gas at 1.04 a L last tuesday and then on friday it was at 135.9 per L, this is just stupid, when i started driving it was at 0.44 per L and that was in 96 or 97
