ITS IN THE SHOP, ALL TORN DOWN NOW, TALKED TO THE GUY LAST WEEK, THE CRANK, BLOCK, RODS, AND HEAD WERE ALL OK (159,000 ORIGINAL MILES) I GOT A 260 DURATION CAM W/ .420 VALVE LIFT, ORDERED MY BOTTOM END KIT WHICH HAS FORGED WEISCO PISTONS PERFORMANCE BERINGS, AND HV OIL PUMP. BOREING IT TO 87MM FROM 86 MM RAISING THE COMP RATIO 8.6:1 TO 10.5:1, PUTTING 1MM BIGGER INTAKE AND EXHAUST VALVES IN IT. WEBER 38 OUTLAW, FIDANZA 9.5 LB FLYWHEEL, PACESETTER HEADER. WHEN THE MACHINE SHOP GETS DONE I AM GOING TO HAVE THE WHOLE MOTOR CRYO TREATED, WHICH SHOULD MAKE EVERYTHING LAST LONGER& BE STRONGER ASWELL! I BOUGHT A MR GASKET COMPUTER DYNO, IT WILL LET YOU BUILD ANY IMPORT, OR DOMESTIC MOTOR, IT CLAIMS TO BE WITHIN 5% OF AN ACTUAL DYNO, SO I BUILT ONE STOCK AND IT SHOWED 85 HP @ 3750 RPM, THEN I DID ONE THE WAY I AM HAVEING MINE BUILT IT SHOWED 193 HP AT 6000 RPM (BOTH FIGURES ARE AT THE FLYWHEEL) SO WHEN YOU TAKE 15% OFF IT SHOULD HAVE @ 160 HP TO THE REARWHEELS, WHEN I SHOWED THE GUY AT THE MACHINE SHOP THE FIGURES, HE SAID HE THOUGHT WE COULD GET 220 HP OUT OF IT, WELL SEE HOW IT GOES, AND I'LL LET EVERYONE KNOW. IT WILL PROB BE MID WINTER EARLY SPRING THOUGH!
