MEMBERS OF MBS > Where are you located??? Update the Map

Maybe I'm dumb but I can't seem to edit the map on this link...

For me it is as simple as clicking the teardrop below the search bar to drop a new marker. Once the marker's dropped, you can add a description. For instance, I dropped one on Shepherdsville, KY, and added in the description "MercilessLTD."

However, things may appear differently to me than others since I created the map. If this doesn't work, let me know and I'll try to figure it out.

For me there is no search bar, at the top it says sign in but when I click it, it just centers the map on your teardrop, no sign in capabilities.

I wonder if you must be signed into Google.

I am signed into mine. I tried to sign out and hit the link but it is the same thing.

Try now. I totally opened it up. If not, I may look for another option.

Still the same thing. I am having the same issues, no change on my end. Maybe someone else will have better luck... try signing out and clicking the link.

EDIT* I know there is are some options to allow anyone to edit the map in the maps options I will try it out on a test map and see if I have the same problem.

NEW MAP! Alright everyone this link seems to be working, this map is for forum members and will only work by using this link, Please do not spam. I will be moderating this map, if anyone would like to be added as a map collaborator/ moderator PM me and I will add you to the map owners list. Here is how it works. Please follow the directions.

In order to add yourself to this map you have to be signed into a google account.

-click the link below.
-click the red edit button next to the map (please do not change the MAPS title or discription).
-zoom out and find your desired location to zoom in on (if you use the search bar it might kick you out of the MBS member map - or you can add the member map to your account)
-click the blue tear drop at the top of the map.
-drop it on your desired location (local bar, hang out, or your house if you want).
-type your city and state in the title bar for the blue tear drop.
-type your member name in the description for the blue tear drop.
-you can embed a picture if you want in the description of the blue tear drop by using the rich text option above the description box and clicking on the picture... you will need a direct link to copy and paste the pic (so it needs to be on a picture sharing site - I use imgur.com it works very well and provides multiple link addresses for each picture depending on what you are posting it in. Photobucket works too and there are tons of them out there. I'm sure you use them to post pics on this forum)
